Although Didsbury Juniors were much improved, they never threatened our determined Wanderers. Izzy, Ele and Frankie all shared goal keeping duty but hardly touched the ball due to the superior defending and attacking of the Wanderers. Becks was solid in her preferred defensive role. Megan, Amy and Izzy all fought in midfield while Beth, Ele and Jenny peppered the Didsbury goal with shots.
Todays top performance though belonged to Leah who showed new found confidence scoring twice and unlucky not to complete her hattrick. Maybe more of our girls need to go Christmas shopping with their boyfields!! Only kidding Leah..
Goals from Beth and Jenny made the final score 4 – 0.
The opposition player award went to Jenny who improves with every match. My player award went to Leah. Well done girls. Much better performance than last week. Same again next week.
